Day 1 Auckland - Dargarvile
Depart 8.30 am
Cross the Harbour Bridge and past the city’s
northern suburbs to reach the sub tropical Hibiscus Coast. Traversing
the Brynderwyn Ranges enjoy the dramatic seascapes before arriving
at the northern reaches of the Kaipara Harbour and Dargaville. This
afternoon join Mc Lean Tours for an expedition to the Kauri Forests,
and west coast beaches.
Day 2 Dargarvile - Paihia
Drive through the Kauri Forests of the west coast
to reach the idyllic Hokianga Harbour. Skirt the harbour shores
before crossing to the Pacific Coast and Paihia enroute passing
through Kaikohe.
Day 3 Cape Reinga Day Trip
Today journey to Cape Reinga, New Zealand’s
most northerly point. Highlights will include a drive along 90 Mile
Beach, a visit to the Puketi Kauri Forest, the Wagener Museum with
over 50,000 exhibits ( optional ) and finally, Cape Reinga and the
turbulent meeting of the Tasman Sea and the Pacific Ocean. Lunch
is included.
Day 4 Bay of Islands - Auckland
This morning depart on the Cape Brett Cruise aboard
a luxury Catamaran. Voyage by many sub tropical islands before passing
through the Hole-in-the-Rock itself. After a relaxing morning return
to Paihia and board your coach for the journey to Auckland
