Day 1 Auckland - Bay of Island

Start your journey by crossing the Harbour Bridge pass by the city’s northern suburbs to reach the sub tropical Hibiscus Coast. Traversing the Brynderwyn Ranges enjoy the dramatic seascapes before continuing on to Whangarei and Paihia in the Bay of Islands. This afternoon board the Excitor, one of the fastest passenger boats in New Zealand. Cruising at over 35 knots this accelerated adventure speeds you to Cathedral Caves, Cape Brett and the Hole in the Rock. The afternoon will leave you buzzing.

Day 2 Swim with Dolphins Adventure

Join Fullers Northland for this ultimate marine adventure. You’ll come face to face with dolphins. Watch their antics and get fantastic photo opportunities. Conditions permitting you will be able to go swimming with them in New Zealand’s warmest waters. After your Dolphin adventure the opportunity exists to stop off for the balance of the day on the beautiful Urupukappuka Island. Spend time enjoying coastal walks, swimming and magnificent beaches. Alternatively return to Paihia and explore the historic sights of the Paihia / Russell region, the birth pace of New Zealand.

Day 3 Bay of Islands – Waitomo Caves

This morning travel south to Auckland. Pass throught the city centre and over the Bombay Hills to the Waikato farmland. Follow the Waikato River, New Zealand’s longest, to Hamilton before continuing on to the Waitomo Caves.

Day 4 Waitomo Caves

Begin the day with your Black Water Rafting experience: an exhilarating, natural, underground 'glow worm-glide'. Experience an underground cave tubing trip close to nature's sounds, secrets and silence. You will feel at ease with the professional guides who enjoy fun, mystery and adventure. This afternoon join Lost World Adventures for 4 hours of further caving action including a series of massive abseils, climbs past fantastic formations, glow worms and more.

Day 5 Waitomo Caves - Rotorua

Take the short drive to through the South Waikato and over the Mumakau Ranges to Lake Rotorua and the city. Arriving Rotorua your first stop will be for a unique Zorb. Strapped inside this giant ball you are off down hill – 3 times !!! The balance of the day will be free to explore Rotorua.

Day 6 White Water Rafting

Today you will be picked up from your accommodation by the team at Kaitiaki Adventures for an adrenaline pumping white-water adventure. Raft the mighty Kaituna River a grade 4 and 5 pool & drop-pool river with 14 awesome drops including 3 waterfalls - one being the world-renowned 7 meter Tutea Falls and much, much more. This afternoon will at your leisure to discover the regions geothermal attractions.

Day 7 Rotorua - Auckland

Before departing Rotorua stop off at the Skyline Gondola station for 3 thrilling luge rides. Have more should you wish. From Rotorua retrace your journey over the Mamaku Ranges and descend to the lush Waikato farmland to arrive Hamilton. Follow the Waikato River, New Zealand's longest waterway, to Auckland.
